Meet the Auditors

Alfonso is a people-centric auditor who takes a collaborative approach to auditing, leaning on his broad and versatile experience in cybersecurity, but before that web development, project management, small-business operations, and education.

He is experienced with GRC platforms and happy to take an asynchronous approach where customers want it.

He speaks English, Japanese, and Spanish, and having lived back-and-forth across the Philippines (8 years), Canada (15 years), Japan (11 years), and Spain (5 years), he brings a broad, nuanced, and cross-cultural perspective.

Fun fact: Outside of work, Alfonso has a golden retriever named Piper, writes poetry and music, and once played in an adolescent band that composed, recorded, and sold an album of original songs. He enjoys floor hockey, indoor football, long road trips, stealth camping, cycling, and cooking — he might have been a chef in another life. Well-travelled and adaptable, he has lived at 20 addresses and counting, and his dual nationality looks to soon become a triple.
